The Black Swan
I finally started reading Nassim Nicholas Taleb’s “The Black Swan” which is a book calling for informed scepticism and an understanding of the impact of the unknown. Nearly every page has a gem; one such:
“You live in a city with two hospitals, one large and one small. At one of them, 60% of births are boys. Which one is it more likely to be?”
